Colin G. Waters

Colin G. Waters keeps his cool so the rest of the unit doesn't have to.

Every drop of cooling water eventually finds its way back to Colin. Warm water from the exchangers and condensers cascades down through his fill, meets the air pulled up by his fans, and heads back out cool and ready to work. A little bit evaporates along the way, and that's the whole trick. "Just a little evaporation, folks. Works every time."

Colin runs a disciplined operation. He keeps his basin clean, stays on top of his water treatment, watches his cycles of concentration, and balances his makeup water and blowdown like a pro. His drift eliminators keep every drop where it belongs, and he doesn't tolerate scale, corrosion, or anything growing where it shouldn't.

His one weakness? Hot, humid days. When the wet bulb creeps up, Colin has to work a lot harder to keep things cool, and everyone in the control room can tell.

Colin also knows exactly how important he is. Lose the cooling water, and a lot of things upstream start heating up fast. That's why he appreciates it when the HAZOP team gives him the attention he deserves.

Perfect for laptops, water bottles, toolboxes, and anyone who keeps their cool while everything around them is running hot.
